Stereo-linked compression for buses and mixes
What it does
Buss Comp provides stereo-linked dynamics processing with Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release and Makeup gain. Its sidechain high-pass filter changes what the compressor detector responds to, rather than filtering the audio output itself.
In practice
Use it across a drum bus or mix bus when you want several sources to respond together. A small amount of gain reduction can be enough; use the sidechain filter when low-frequency energy is causing more compression than you want.
